“The first picture I ever took? I really can’t say. I had many instant cameras. The beauty of them, not knowing what the picture would look like, but the beauty it will hold, knowing the effort, and moment that I had captured. You see, this is why I have a passion for photography. There are memories that we can capture in our minds, our hearts, and sometimes, we want to relive that moment. This is what I offer anyone that seeks me for their special day. These are just not photographs, these are moments, smiles, tears. I want to take you back in time without having to wait for a time machine to ever be created. You ever look at a picture and get taken back to that day? You can easily smell the perfume, or the fresh cut grass, you can feel the wind, or the sun on your skin, you can hear the people talk, or remember the silence there was. Yes, those are the kind of memories I want to take you back to. The kind I aim to capture”
The name is Jocelyn Ochoa, I’ve been honored to photograph many special events. From weddings, to quinceañeras. You name it. I have experience, but that’s not all. I have the heart and patience it takes to work with you on your day. So whether you need an extra 10 minutes to finish getting ready, I will be by your side, capturing every moment you might think you may not be a part of. You will be a part of every moment. I promise.
EMCY was established in 2017. The name EMCY came from two things I love in life, What I do, and my wife. I am a hopeless Romantic, I have my own style in photography, but my heart will listen and deliver to everyones expectations. I am my biggest critic, which means, I am 100% dedicated on what I do.
